IWCE is looking for dynamic speakers with great stories and insights about what's new and relevant in the world of communications technology to present at IWCE 2021, September 27 - 30, 2021 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.What We Are Looking For…. Timely, relevant, future-thinking insights, research, trends and educational topics that are driving the communications technology industry. IWCE’s attendees come from all levels of state, local and federal government; public safety organizations such as law enforcement, fire, EMS, 911/ECCs; critical infrastructure such as transportation, utilities and healthcare and various types of enterprises. Submissions are not limited to the track topics listed below, but they will be used as a general guide.

TIPS:
- Write out the title, abstract, and special features in a Word or Notes document before you enter the Submission Process.
- Create your account (you'll be able to edit your proposal until the deadline)
- Session title: Provide a session title fewer than 10 words. Please try to include keywords and topics covered by your talk.
- Please note if your submission is a case study in the abstract / session description field.
- PLEASE NOTE NEW FEATURES!
- You must SAVE the Title by clicking Save or you will continue to get an error. Most of the other fields save as soon as you click off, but some require you to press save. MAKE SURE THERE IS SOMETHING IN THE FIELD before you move on.
- There are many more fields in this new version of the Call for Speakers. You are NOT required to complete/upload the documents or video fields But please complete the rest of the proposal form as thoroughly as possible.
- You will not get a copy emailed to you. There is a URL at the top of the page so please save that URL so you can view or edit your proposal after you've submitted it.
- To add a speaker that isn't you, simply OVERWRITE the information in the Speaker Fields sections before you add the speaker to the proposal. It defaults to you, but to change it you just need to replace the information.
- Don’t submit pitches/PR sessions promoting your firm or product.
- If you are suggesting a panel of participants but have not gotten full commitments from individuals, you may put job titles and organizations in the Special Features/Speakers to indicate the types of panelists who will be invited to the discussion.
- During the selection process, proposals may be grouped with other similar topics to provide a broader viewpoint from several sources within a session or workshop.
- Topics and speakers are selected based on overall relevance to IWCE’s audience.
- Depending on your organization type, your speaking slot may be linked to a sponsorship package so if you are interested in finding out more, contact [email protected].
Terms & ConditionsAs a speaker at IWCE, you have committed to present this session, and all the preparation that it entails. In return, IWCE agrees to promote you, your company and your presentation to its attendees through a vast promotional campaign. Both you and IWCE have made a promise to our attendees to deliver the session as published, including the topic and the speaker. By presenting, you acknowledge and agree that IWCE shall have the non-exclusive worldwide right, in perpetuity, to record, copy, reproduce, display, sell, distribute and otherwise use, for IWCE’s account, all or any portion of the content of your presentation (the “Licensed Material”), in audio, video, written and/or any other format or medium, whether now existing or hereafter developed. In conjunction with any such use by IWCE, both agree to make commercially reasonable efforts to provide an attribution of your ownership of the underlying Licensed Material, and, in any event, none of the foregoing shall limit your ability to use your own copies of the underlying Licensed Material for your own purposes, whether commercial or otherwise. It is imperative that your presentation is not a sales pitch for you or your company. No speaker may use a conference session for commercial sales pitches, self-promotion or unfair criticism of a competitor. If it is determined that a speaker presented a sales pitch or criticism, that company and speaker will be excluded from future events.
